Relish created a pre-order and launch campaign for the highly anticipated Square Enix release of Kingdom Hearts III. The campaign covered multiple formats across print, POS and digital, across Europe and Australia and New Zealand.

Relish was commissioned to evolve key art aimed at resonating with both new and existing Kingdom Hearts fans alike. Core creative centred on setting Sora against a background of scenes from multiple Disney worlds illustrating the larger scope of the new game.

 

Additionally, Relish developed pastiche routes. These featured Sora with different Disney characters allowing the work to connect with fans of separate Disney franchises.

The online campaign included a suite of online ads for both pre-order and launch creatives, site takeovers as well as a Facebook Instant Experience, utilising video and image assets to create a sophisticated and engaging Facebook post.

Kingdom Hearts III shipped over five million units worldwide in its first week after release, making it the franchise’s fastest-selling installment in history.
