SEGA briefed Relish Creative to manage the launch campaign for their new PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and PC release, Like a Dragon: Ishin. The game is an action-adventure historical thriller set uniquely in 1860s Kyoto, a fictionalised version of Kyoto. While other games tell earlier stories in Japanese history, Ishin lets you experience the story of how the iconic samurai era vanished.
Relish Creative delivered a multilingual digital marketing campaign covering countries including Australia, France, Italy, Spain, UK and Germany. Relish provided full design and localisation support spanning the games pre-order and out now phases for both the trade and consumer press. Each asset required localisation across multiple territories.
The online, print and digital campaign built awareness, interest and ultimately sales of this much anticipated title; available for the first time outside of Japan.
For the exclusive trade launch at Berlin’s Museum Macan, Relish adapted the key campaign assets to create an immersive event experience.
