Square-Enix briefed Relish to attract a new audience to the Outriders universe, as the story evolves into a more brutal, barbaric sci-fi world. We started by reworking the wordmark to future-proof the identity for Outriders II. From there, we built a flexible brand toolkit to ensure the identity could be applied consistently across packaging, advertising, marketing and digital touchpoints worldwide.

Typography is shaped by rugged terrain and heavy-duty equipment, while a charged colour palette reflects the extraordinary abilities unleashed through anomaly powers. Together, these elements create a raw, untamed sci-fi aesthetic.

At the core is the energy of the anomaly powers – volatile, unpredictable, and destructive. We captured that force and turned it into a visual language. The result is a visceral identity that defines Outriders II through large-scale conflict and relentless momentum.

While development is currently on hold, the intent remains unchanged: to define a bold new chapter for the Outriders franchise.
