When video games giant SEGA wanted to take their launch campaign for Sonic Frontiers to a new level, our enthusiasm knew no bounds. Taking their static creative, we created animated assets to work across digital platforms. We delivered a global marketing campaign covering 15 countries, including Australia & New Zealand, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US.
Relish provided full design and localisation support spanning the games pre-order phase right through to post-launch sales messaging. Each asset required mass localisation across multiple territories.
The integrated marketing campaign included media schedule management across territories covering multiple digital formats from digital out of home, screen tiles and console statics to Amazon banners, mastheads, takeovers and autoplay units.
Digital out of home (DOOH) combined static and animated creative displayed at key sites including New York – Times Square, London – Piccadilly Circus, Paris – La Defence, and Sydney. Digital and social media advertising maximised excitement from the pre-launch, pre-order build up, across key retail events such as Black Friday, through to launch and post launch sales.
Relish designed the SEGA events stands so Sonic Frontiers was the focal game at MCM and Paris Games Week.
We localised the creative across 15 territories, rolling out over 5,000 assets globally.
